Food is an integral part of what we do at The Amadeus. Just like the memories you take with you from your special day we aim to ensure the food you eat at The Amadeus is something you will want to savour again and again.
Our five resident caterers are all members of the Association Culinaire and the English Cookery and Food Association. Each has been carefully selected to reflect the highest standards in quality foods and a broad range in affordability. Each delivers a highly personalised service to meet the highest expectation.
For day events our Kitchen Cafe serves only fair-trade tea and coffee and food ranging from a simple sandwich with tasty bread and organic cheddar to a full formal lunch with well chosen wines. Our own in-house chef prides himself on his ability to create unique and specific dishes to suit your requirements – or we have a selection of sample menus to choose from.
In keeping with our ‘anything and everything possible’ philosophy we have made sure that all of our recommended caterers provide individual menu planning services.
We pride ourselves in making sure we cater for each and every one of our clients’ dietary needs and are happy to provide comprehensive information about all of our menus on request. And while we believe we offer the most tempting dishes with a fusion of ideas to suit every appetite, if you really can’t see what you want we will be delighted to discuss ideas with you.

Chef Sara and restaurateur Martin bring a wealth of experience to personal menu and event planning, using the best (organic wherever possible) ingredients from top suppliers. Catered by Justin have been perfecting the art of gourmet roasts for many years now, using only the best locally sourced free range and rare breed meats cooked from scratch on site at the Amadeus. Our roasts work really well as full on plated wedding dinners. Imagine big platters of succulent Dingley Dell pork slowly cooked in cider and a touch of spice and perfect crackling. Or how about an impressive joint of Dedham Vale beef forerib on each table for a nominated guest to carve away at. Either can be served with big bowls of crispy goose fat roasties, seasonal vegetables and real meat stock gravy or beautiful fresh innovative salads to pass around the table.
We also do more conventional sit-down dinners, a really nice range of canapés and great homemade desserts and buffets. Quality English seasonal produce is what we love to cook with, but we also love to add a bit of Mediterranean flair to our food.
