The Amadeus is a beautifully renovated Welsh Presbytereian Chapel in Maida Vale, that hosts a diverse range of events, but with a focus on Weddings and Classical Music Rehearsals.  We are looking to add to our team with a part time Weddings and Events Co-ordinator

 We are a small team so the Events Co-ordinator is a vital part of running events at the space. You will be the main contact person for our Wedding clients from the initial inquiry, through to their big day and afterwards making sure we continue to get great Testimonials. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Actively pursue sales leads through our sales channels, contacting interested couples, sending out pricelists and information
  • Organising venue visits and tours and supporting monthly viewing evenings. 
  • Creating Quotes, Booking agreements, and invoices through our software system (Xero)
  • Recording details of all bookings in a Spreadsheet.
  • Connecting couples with our recommended suppliers,
  • Collecting information from external suppliers and creating Event sheets, so that all vendors are aware of timelines and responsibilities
  • One month before the wedding confirm all details and create invoicing for additional items.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction throughout the entire planning process, capturing Feedback, Testimonials and Photographs after the event
  • Coordinate and oversee all wedding day activities, including setup, vendor arrivals, ceremony, reception, and teardown
  • Act as Duty Manager for the site.
  • Ensure that the wedding day runs smoothly and according to the client’s vision


 Wedding Coordinator requirements and qualifications

Proven work experience as a Wedding Coordinator or similar role

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience in event planning, preferably in the wedding industry
  • Knowledge of wedding traditions and customs familiarity with wedding vendors and venues  

Salary –  3 days per week  £29,000 – £32,000 Pro-Rata
