The Amadeus is a great space for music rehearsals.  The acoustic works well for classical music, the space is light and airy, and access for larger instruments couldn’t be easier.  In addition, it is well situated with London Paddington station only 10 minutes away on foot.

Adrian Chandler

Artistic Director, La Serenissima

The Amadeus is a perfect rehearsal space for a group or small orchestra such as the 12 Ensemble. A beautifully light and airy space with high ceilings, its rich acoustic and well-connected location make it an easy choice. We look forward to being back soon.

Max Ruisi

Artistic Director, The 12 Ensemble

We’ve found The Amadeus a very welcoming and accommodating venue for our regular conducting masterclass sessions with pianists and ensembles. The location is really handy for transport links, and everything we need is on site. It’s a lovely space to make music, and a pleasure to spend time there.

Rehearsal Testimonials:

The Amadeus is a charming and wonderful venue that I would wholeheartedly recommend. No request is too big or small for the team to consider, and they are always so helpful and welcoming to us. We have found it a brilliant venue over the years for rehearsing and more recently recording. The acoustic and setting work beautifully, and there’s the added advantage of music stands and decent orchestral chairs already in situ; every orchestra’s dream! Enjoy our Metamorphosen recorded live at the Amadeus in May 2021.

Chief Executive, Orpheus Sinfonia

The Amadeus Centre was ideal for our Creative Learning filming session, and Gus was so helpful throughout the day. The space is beautiful, with quite a lively acoustic. It was great to have music stands available too – one less thing to carry – and getting in and out was nice and easy too. Hope to come back soon!’

Rachel Wilkinson

Creative Learning Manager, Britten Sinfonia

The Amadeus in Little Venice is cool, bathed in natural light and the acoustic is second to none. It is resonant, without being overly wet and has a subtle dryness which gives clarity to un-amplified instruments. Overall, it would be difficult to find more suitable rehearsal space in central London without going to Wigmore Hall or The Purcell Room!
