Live At the Amadeus

Prepare to be enchanted by an evening of exquisite folk music as the Westcountry duo Mitchell and Vincent grace the stage at the Amadeus on May 28th, starting at 7:00 PM. With their mastery of fiddle and guitar, these talented musicians bring a unique blend of traditional and contemporary styles to the rich tapestry of British Isles folk music. Their performances are further enriched by their original compositions, drawing deeply from folk traditions and crafted with intricate arrangements that weave stories through their melodies and songs.

Subud

Subud is a worldwide association of people who gather to follow the latihan kejiwaan, which means ‘spiritual training’ in Indonesian. Subud members create room for this experience by temporarily quietening their thoughts and feelings. Subud is not a religion, but can be practised alongside any religion.

Subud has no leaders, teachers, or doctrines. Rather, Subud furthers the development of each person’s inner self so that they can find their own connection with the divine.

In 1989, Subud acquired The Amadeus and transformed it into a venue for the latihan and other events.
